Supply Chain labels are also used in the carriage or delivery of goods. Can you imagine a courier full of satchels or cartons without labels and the difficulty it would be to deliver them?
Supply Chain labels are delivered blank white and usually printed inhouse. It is the printing and in particular the unique barcode that adds value and provides traceability.
While there are common industry size standards it is important to have the right application – ambient or cold chain environment(s).
